The National Geographic brand guidelines were provided to me for reference. Fonts and other assets were also supplied for consistency. Signage, booklets and badges were created. Photographers were consulted for final approval and had high standards that heavily influenced final designs.
The background proved to be a challenge in terms of printing - the contrast levels were being lost and the stripes were getting washed out and blurred into one dark gray color. After a few print tests, we arrived at ideal settings for each deliverable, and were able to fulfill all of the Art Director's deadlines and requirements.
